Plot summary: Hussein [Samir Sabri] and Qasem [Youssef Chaban] worked with Kerwan, [Soheir Ramzy] the female star of a dance troupe. The troupe fell heavily into debt and there was a breakup. Afterwards there was a false murder accusation and an incident of marital infidelity, followed by a resumption of what had gone before.

This is a 25.75" x 36.5" Egyptian poster for the 1998 Atef-e Taieb psychological thriller Consolation [gabr al-khawater] based on a story by Abdel Fatah Rizk, screenplay and dialogue by Bachir El Dik and starring Sherihan as Nawal Ibrahim al-Saadi. Plot summary: In Alexandria Nawal Ibrahim al-Saadi was suffering from schizophrenia in a psychiatric clinic after being forcibly separated from her divorced husband and her only son Adel. She met many patients suffering from various problems. Dr. Mahmoud Shaker [Ashraf Abdel Baqi] sympathized with Nawal and tried to help her as much as possible, but he saw the hospital director Dr. Al-Meliguy [Hassan Mostafa] was subjecting the patients to unsafe experiments; this prompted him to take action against the schemes.

This is an Egyptian promotional poster designed by Hassan Mazhar Gasour for the 1991 120-minute Salah Abouseif color film War in the Land of Egypt [al-mowaten: masri] starring Omar Sharif, based on the novel al-harb fi bar misr by Youssef El-Kaeed with screenplay by Mohsen Zayed and cinematography by Tarek El-Telmisany. Plot summary: In 1973 in an Egyptian village Abdel Zeraq al-Shershabi (Omar Sharif), a shrewd feudal mayor, recovered his farmland by court order after the lifting of a receivership. His young second wife threatened to tell people he had become sexually impotent if he did not prevent their only son Tawfiq from being drafted into the army along with his other children from his first wife. The mayor pressured an oppressed farm laborer named Abel Mawgud to have his son Masri, who was exempt from the draft, take the place of his son Tawfiq in the induction in exchange for the Mayor giving him the five feddans he was farming, assigning him a special work crew and giving him a cash reward. Abdel Mawgud and his son agreed to this. Then Masri was killed in the October War, but he had already confessed the truth about what had happened to a recruiter named Hassan [Ashraf Abdel Baqi]. The police were investigating the incident, but Abdel Mawgud denied being Masri's father out of fear of the Mayor's anger, who had only paid him 261 pounds and refused to give him the land he had promised.

This Egyptian film poster was designed by Al-Khad to promote the 1980 115-minute Henry Barakat color film I Am Neither a Devil Nor an Angel [lestu shaytanan wa la malakan] based on story, screenplay and dialogue by Samir Abdelazim with cinematography by Ibrahim Saleh. Plot summary: Kawsar [Soheir Ramzy] left her fiance Ahmed [Nour El-Sherif] and married the elderly rich man Shamis, [Aly El Cherif] the owner of a factory in which her father worked, after there was a quarrel between her and Ahmed over her father. Ahmed finished his studies and graduated from the college of engineering. He established a relationship with his classmate Engineer Nahed [Hoda Ramzi] and they decided to marry. Shamis was killed by the husband of his mistress. Kawsar asked Engineer Ahmed to help her manage her late husband's factory because she was having many problems doing it herself. By chance she learned about the relationship between Ahmed and Nahed; this got her to thinking about firing Nahed from her job at the factory. Ahmed went to see Kawsar at her home and asked her not to do this. After he left her home Shamis's son stabbed Kawsar with a knife and she was taken to a hospital. Ahmed emphasized to Nahed that his relationship with Kawsar had been just a work relationship and what had happened earlier was just a memory; so the two of them began their life together.
