Plot summary: In the year 1946 in Port Said Enayat [Samiha Ayoub] is involved with the smuggler Amin, [Hassan Hamed] who goes to prison. When he gets out, he wants revenge and gets close to Enayat's husband Ahmed [Imad Hamdi] and daughter Salwa. He is killed later; Ahmed is accused of the murder and sent to prison for 15 years.

The film was produced by Asia Film. Plot summary: Nadia was suffering because of the behavior of her sister Nawal, who was a deceptive girl. She sought counseling in this matter from Dr. Adel and during these consultations love grew between Adel the physician and Nadia the nurse. Nawal's sister married and then divorced a swindler, while Adel and Nadia eventually married when their love grew stronger.

Pictured here is an 8" x 11" 12-page Egyptian program for the 1954 Ihsan Ferghal musical comedy We Live Once [al-omr wahd] starring Ismail Yassine based on story and dialogue by Abu Seoud El-Ibiary with cinematography by Mostafa Hassan. Plot summary: The owner of a company lusted after his secretary and wanted to seduce her, but the secretary loved an engineer in the company named Nafe [Ismail Yasseen]. The secretary married him and the director [Abdel Fatah Al Kasri] fired them. In the face of the unemployment problems the engineer decided to go to Brazil where his twin brother Masoud [also Ismail Yasseen] lived. He boarded an aircraft that crashed and killed all the passengers and the wife and the brother took the insurance money, which put them on a better social level. However Nafe soon appeared; the two had many problems hiding him and Nafe wore many disguises. He saw with his own eyes how men lusted after his wife in his absence. Nafe's ruse was discovered, the police arrested him and the company demanded the money. Nafe's brother arrived from Brazil and paid the insurance money, ending the problems surrounding Nafe.

The film is included in Ahmad Al-Hadari's list of Egypt's 100 most important films. Plot Summary: The actress Sanaa Kamal [Soheir Ramzy] was murdered in her bed. The investigator summoned all those who were in her home on the night of her death including her fiancee Ahmad Saber, the director of the company that published the papers the actress used to help build the building, his friend who betrayed his wife and the strong young man who sold his body to the actress while at the same time making plans to steal the treasury at an institution. Then everyone who was at the party at her home that night was arrested after the investigator discovered the crime took place during the party. Her fiance the film director admitted he had killed her out of jealousy.

Plot summary: A young girl married a writer in whose eyes she often saw the ideas and views contained in his writing. She married him even though the opposite of what appeared in his writing quickly became evident in her husband's behavior. She decided to leave him without returning and fled the home with him chasing her. While she was running away she met an attractive boy. They fell in love and decided to marry as soon as she obtained a divorce from her husband. The boy went on a mission abroad and he even summoned her after the divorce. While she was waiting for him at the airport the aircraft exploded just before landing and all the passengers were killed.

Plot summary: Hassan the cinematographer opened his home to many different segments of society. It served both as a nightclub and a place of debauchery; he kept both functions going in earnest. He therefore needed to find a home for this purpose, and this is what Aliat and Senia did for him because they needed money. There was a close relationship between Aliat and Senia. Senia's brother Marzouq courted Aliat and the officer Ibrahim courted Senia. The film director Mohamed Reshwan met Marzouq and offered him work opposite the film star Fetna, who found Marzouq to be the right man for her and began flirting with him. Meanwhile the director Adel thought he deserved the artist Fetna, but she quickly married Marzouq after his courtship of Aliat fell apart, who had gone back to Hassan's house to engage in lewd behavior. Adel decided to take revenge against Marzouq and Fetna and he disfigured Marzouq's face. Life became impossible between Marzouq and Fetna. He divorced her and went back to Aliat, whom he married after forgiving her for her past.

One day Nabil saw a young man trying to kill himself by jumping off a bridge and was able to save him, but he drowned in so doing and left a bereaved family. The man Hamdy Hamed Nabil had saved was stricken with remorse and wanted to atone for his guilt at any price. He tried to get close to the widow by renting a room in her house without telling her he had been the cause of her husband's death. She rented him a room because she needed the money. Hamdy began to have deep feelings for Wafa and became close to the daughter. Hamdy acquired some money, paid it to the widow and told her it came from a philanthropist. The widow accused him of stealing the money from her husband. He tried to confess to her the truth but Wafa left the country. When she returned she found Hamdy waiting for her asking her to forgive his mistake. She forgave him and they married.

Cinematography was by Wahid Farid. Plot summary: Abu Fares al-Hamdani (Farid Shawqi) was a famous Arab poet among the lords of the Al-Hamdania. He was also famous for his chivalry and bravery in the court of Prince Seif ad-Dawla. The people everywhere loved him. He fell in love with Naglaa al-Khaledia (Soad Hosny), an attractive performer in the prince's palace. This made the commander of the army jealous, and he competed with Fares for the love of Naglaa. The prince decided to appoint Abu Fares as successor to the governor of the city of Manih, while Farawia, the Hamdani army commander, began to hate him. Fares was taken prisoner and tortured by the Hamdani Empress Tifano. He learned Farawiya had made a plot on Rome's behalf to destroy the al-Hamdania government. In a wild escape Seif al-Dawlah avoided being murdered. He led the Arabs in the expulsion of Rome; then he met his love Naglaa and raised banners of victory.

Plot summary: Laila used to spend some of her time on the banks of the Nile. That was where she first met her husband Ahmed Abdel Salam [Imad Hamdi] and his friend Rafet, [Ahmed Ramzi] who had been in love with her for a long time. However Ahmed was the one she married; they had a baby girl. As the years went by Ahmed's sister Mona [Zahrat El-Ola] kept hoping in vain Rafet would develop feelings for her. In 1956 during the Suez Crisis Ahmed was summoned to defend the country. Laila received a report Ahmed had been killed but could not accept it. After five years Rafet went back to the home of his absent friend. Ahmed's daughter Nadia became close to Rafet, who was trying to get Laila to marry him. When Nadia became ill Ahmed cared for her. Laila finally agreed to the marriage to save her daughter. During the Suez fighting Ahmed had fled into the desert and survived with help from the Bedouins. When he finally got home he was shocked when he found his wife and Rafet together and shot Rafet, but not fatally. Ahmed was given a suspended prison sentence and went back to his wife Laila.

Plot summary: A married couple lived separately. Wafa' [Zouzou Mady] worked her private home job and paid Engineer Fadel [Imad Hamdi] the father to take care of his small daughter Mona. Since he could not find anyone to look after Mona during his absence, he took her with him to work. While tampering with machinery at Fadel's plant, Mona accidentally caused her father to be caught in the moving parts of a large machine, which broke his arm. Mona ran away feeling tormented and guilty. She met Baheyya, [Negma Ibrahim] a malicious woman who took her in and treated her cruelly. Meanwhile Fadel was looking everywhere for his daughter. He went to Alexandria with his wife, who felt Mona had violated the rights of her family. Mona ran away from Baheyya, disguised herself as a boy named Bondoq and went to Alexandria as a stowaway on a train. There she took refuge with a kindly fisherman named Aouf [Adly Kasseb] and his mother [Souraya Fakhry]. Her mother and father found her later and she told them what had happened.
