starring Naglaa Fathy as Azza. Plot summary: Azza is a dancer who
falls in love with an Egyptian army officer named Amr [Hussein Fahmy]
and promises to marry him. When she hears he has been killed, she
immerses herself dancing in Cairo's nightclubs to pay expenses and
cope with her grief; she is shocked and confused when Amr unexpectedly
turns up alive and well. She does not know where to begin.

and dialogue by Atef Rizq and starring Dina as Afaf. Plot summary:
Afaf worked in a coffee shop after retiring from dancing and she
married Morsi [Hussein El-Sherbini]. Mansour wanted her and falsely
accused Morsi of drug dealing. He succeeded in splitting up Morsi and
Afaf. Morsi divorced her and she went back to dancing. She got
involved bringing in drugs from abroad without realizing it and proved
Morsi's innocence. Afaf learned the truth about Mansour and he and his
assistants were arrested. Afaf went back to Morsi.

Plot summary: Rashed [Abu Bakr Ezzat] drugged and kidnapped Esmat,
a student, and took her to his home. Before he could
attack her he was surprised by a thief named Raouf [Ezzat El Alaili]
who killed him and then fled with Esmat. To get her sympathy, Raouf
confessed to Esmat that he was being forced to steal so he could pay
for his sick daughter's [Laila Eloui] medical care.

film Thirsty [atshana] starring Elham Shaheen based on story,
screenplay and dialogue by Mohammad al-Basusi with cinematograpy by
Mohamed Khalil. Plot summary: Samia [Elham Shaneen] married her
colleague Salah [Hesham Selim] and they lived together in Salah's home
with his parents. Salah worked in an attorney's office. Samia was
harassed by her mother-in-law Hosnia [Khayria Ahmed]. Samia worked at
a company owned by Moharram [Hussein El-Sherbini], a businessman, who
wanted her, adding to the problems Samia was having because of
Hosnia's harressment. Samia turned against Salah and demanded a
divorce, which he gave her. Moharram offered to marry Samia and she
agreed. Then she discovered Moharram's poor ethics, his relations
with numerous women and his use of narcotics. Hosnia regretted the way
she had treated Samia and asked her son Salah to bring her back.
Salah met with Samia without realizing she had married Moharram; he
learned about her difficult life with her husband. Salah started a law
firm, became successful and got his own apartment. Moharram died and
Samia inherited his wealth. Her friend Ezzat advised her to go back
to Salah. She initially rejected this because she was enjoying her
freedom, but she eventually changed her mind and went back to him.

cinematography by Ali Khair Allah. Plot summary: Nagwa came to Cairo
from Tanta to enroll in the College of Information and live with her
married sister. She got into a relationship with someone named Monir,
who refused to marry her after tricking her. Shalata was seduced by
the husband of Monir's mother, who had acquired enormous wealth by
questionable means, and he married her. However he soon divorced
Nagwa to marry Wedad, who had agreed to help Monir get revenge against
Nagwa. Then Nagwa started working for a pimp named Om Salem. The
ethics police raided the apartment and arrested all of them. Then
Nagwa found herself under police interrogation.

Dik and cinematography by Said Al-Shiemy; it is based on F. Scott
Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby. Plot summary: Jaber [Nour
El-Sherif] was a rich businessman who lived alone in his villa after
leaving his wife, a long time after he had been injured in the 1967
war. Hala [Madiha Kamel] was now living in a villa with her husband
Hussein [Hussein El-Sherbini]. Jaber learned her address and bought
the villa next door to her so he could be close to her with his dreams
and old memories. He invited her to visit him but she refused because
she wanted him out of her life, which had become stable. A secret
relationship developed between Hussein and the wife of Hosan, [Nabil
al-Dessouki] who was living at the villa. Hosan watched his wife and
confirmed her relationship with Hussein, then he killed her. Hussein
had to run away with his wife Hala. Jaber heard about this and that
Hussein and Hala had left the villa, so he killed himself with Hosan's
rifle.
