This is a 25.75" x 17.75" Iranian film poster designed by Pasargadae to promote the 1965 Farokh Ghafari film The Night of the Hunchback [shabe qoozi] starring Khosro Sahami as the hunchback based on a screenplay by Jalal Moghadam and Farokh Ghafari with cinematography by Gerium Hayrapetian and Peter Paian. Plot summary: At the end of a show a hunchback member of a performing troupe has an accident and gets a bone caught in his throat. Everyone thinks he has died and his corpse becomes an embarrassment. They all try to get rid of it by moving it from one house to another but in the end the police find the body and arrest the miscreants who have been hiding in the group.

This is a 23.5" x 35.5" Iranian film poster made to promote the 1971 Parviz Sayyad 117-minute black-and-white film Samad in the Way of the Dragon [صمد در راه اژدها samad dar rah-e ezhdeha] starring Parviz Sayyad as Samad, based on a screenplay by Parviz Sayyad with cinematography by Ali Reza Zarrindast. The film was produced by the Free Film Group and the Panorama Film Organization. Plot Summary: A girl karate expert stops a gendarmerie jeep in a plea for help. The jeep is carring her colleague, a notorious smuggler, and Samad. She knocks down the police warrant officer and his guard, but she cannot find the keys to the handcuffs. She therefore takes Samad with her and leaves him at a cinema in town. At the cinema Samad watches a kung fu movie several times in a row, then goes back to the village and teaches karate to the young people there. Then the warrant officer sends Samad back to town to find the criminals. An agent who had come to the village to kill Samad is arrested by the gendarmes and when his friends try to set him free the gendarmes arrest all of them.

The stone structure in the background on the poster is the Falak-ol-Aflak Castle in the city of Khorrambabad, Lorestan Province, built under the Sassanid Dynasty (226-651). Plot summary: Ayaz is hostile to Nasir's family so he plots to have the head of the family thrown in prison. Nasir [Fardin] sets out to get revenge but he is driven out of the city by Ayaz. Nasir meets a public gymnast and learns some strongman exhibition stunts. When he returns he kidnaps Ayaz's daughter and ties her to a wagon so he can rape her. Ayaz frantically pursues Nasir but falls off a roof and dies. Nasir changes his mind and ends up marrying the girl he loves.
