This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Magdi William for the 1963 Primo Zeglio film Slave Queen of Babylon based on a story by Luigi De Santis and Sergio Spina, screenplay by Fede Arnaud, Alberto Liberati and Primo Zeglion and starring Yvonne Furneaux as Semiramide. Plot summary: Late in the 9th Century BC General Onnos [Germano Longo] returns victorious to the court of King Minurte [Renzo Ricci] in Nineveh after battling the Dardanians. He presents the king with many captured slaves including Kir, [John Ericson] king of the Dardanians. Queen Semiramide uses the slave labor to found the city of Babylon in the Province of Sachem.
