Plot summary: Sean Mercer has a business in Africa capturing wild animals for sale to zoos. There is a disruption in the routine when photographer Anna Maria D'Allesandra [Elsa Martinelli] joins the group to document its activities.

Plot summary: Cole Thornton is a hired gun who turns down a job fighting an old sheriff friend, J.P. Harrah [Robert Mitchum] of El Dorado. Thornton later goes to help Harrah when he hears he is in trouble.

This is a 14" x 28" Italian locandina poster designed by Mario Piovano of Studio Paradiso for a 1978 rerelease of the 1959 Howard Hawks film Rio Bravo based on a short story by B.H. McCampbell AKA Barbara Hawks, screenplay by Jules Furthman and Leigh Brackett and starring John Wayne as Sheriff John T. Chance. Plot summary: In the town of Rio Bravo Texas Sheriff John T. Chance has arrested Joe Burdette [Claude Akins] for murder, but he knows it will be difficult to keep him in jail because his brother Nathan [John Russell] is expected to lead an armed assault on the jail to get him out. The sheriff needs help.

This is a 23" x 34" Danish poster for the 1964 Howard Hawks film Man's Favorite Sport based on the Pat Frank short story "The Girl Who Almost Got Away," screenplay by John Fenton Murray and Steve McNeil and starring Rock Hudson as Roger Willoughby. Plot summary: Renowned sports fishing expert Roger Willoughby is entered in a fishing contest by his employer, the Sporting Goods Department at Abercrombie and Fitch. This creates a major problem for him because Willoughby has never been fishing in his life.

This is a 27" x 39" Turkish one-sheet poster for the 1970 Howark Hawks film Rio Lobo starring John Wayne as Colonel Cord McNally, based on a story by Burton Wohl with screenplay by Burton Wohl and Leigh Brackett. Plot summary: After the US Civil War, former Union Colonel Cord McNally takes it upon himself with the help of some former Confederate soldiers to find a traitor who sold information to the South during the war. When they reach the town of Rio Lobo they find it has been taken over by a band of outlaws under leadership of the traitor they are looking for.

Red River (R1965) - (John Wayne) Spanish one-sheet

This is a 27" x 39" Spanish poster by an unknown designer for a 1965 rerelease of the 1948 Howard Hawks and Arthur Rosson film Red River based on the 1946 Borden Chase Saturday Evening Post serial "Blazing Guns on the Chisholm Trail," screenplay by Borden Chase and Charles Schnee and starring John Wayne as Thomas Dunson. Plot summary: Thomas Dunson is a cattle rancher who starts a ranch in Texas and leads a cattle drive to Abilene which is the first use of what eventually becomes known as the Chisholm Trail. The story is punctuated by trouble with indians, territorial disputes, gunfights and conflicts over women.

This is a 22.5" x 33" Polish poster designed by Jerzy Treutler to promote a 1972 rerelease of the 1955 Howard Hawks film Land of the Pharaohs [Ziemia Faraonow] starring Jack Hawkins and Joan Collins. The film tells the story of Pharaoh Khufu [Jack Hawkins] who believes he can take his gold with him into the next life. His second wife Princess Nellifer [Joan Collins] plots to prevent him from taking his treasure with him when he dies.
