This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster for the 1980 Kieth Merrill film Windwalker based on the 1979 novel of the same title by Blaine M. Yorgason, screenplay by Ray Goldrup and Blaine M. Yorgason and starring Trevor Howard as Windwalker. Plot summary: After his death in 1797, the old Cheyenne warrior Windwalker is revived by the Great Spirit and falls from his burial platform. Reunited with his mystical white stallion, Windwalker rejoins his family to help in their longstanding feud with the Crow Indians, who had abducted one of his twin sons before his death. The languages are Cheyenne and Crow with English subtitles along with the narrator's English. The film follows the old warrior's life as he looks back on it, then takes up the new events that unfold after his resurrection.
