Plot summary: Farid [Farid Al Atrache] became wealthy; he had a passion for love so he became acquainted with his neighbor Elham [Madiha Yousri], an orphan who lived with her Aunt Basiyouni [Marie Munib]. With Bassiyouni's agreement Farid became Elham's piano teacher. In a complication that plays itself out during the film a dancer named Baheya [Taheya Cariocca] also tried to woo Farid, but he did not love her even though they performed together.

Plot summary: Wahid the musician loves a dancer named Wela [Samia Gamal] and proposes marriage to her after her return from a business trip. However while Wela is away Wahid marries a singer named Nousa [Nour Al Hoda] as part of a ruse arranged by Nousa's uncle Ghazal, [Stephan Rosti] who wants to marry Wela.

This is a 35" x 61" original three-piece stone litho Egyptian poster designed by Marcel for the 1962 Salah Abouseif film Letter from an Unknown Woman starring Farid Al Atrache as Ahmed Sameh. Plot summary: The musician Ahmed Sameh received a letter on the evening of his birthday. He was used to receiving flowers every birthday but this time he was reading a letter from a woman he did not know. Her name was Amal [Lobna Abdel Aziz] and she lived in front of him in his old home. She loved him without him knowing about it; she seldom saw him or had any reason to go into his home, but she knew his servant Ibrahim. However her mother had to get married and moved to another city. From time to time Amal looked at the home of her beloved who did not know her. One day he stopped his car for her, took her to his home and she became pregnant by him, but he forgot her because she was just another girl to him. He lived the life of a musician. Amal worked in an office. The owner of the office offered to marry her but he knew there was another man in her life so he left her alone. Amal met her beloved one night but he did not remember her. He avoided her son but one day the son was hurt in a collision with a bus. The doctor said the type of blood the injured boy needed was rare. Amal was obliged to send her letter to Ahmed Sami, who came to the hospital on the evening of his birthday. He gave the blood to his son and married Amal after he realized how long she had loved him. This film was directed by Salah Abouseif based on the 1922 novella of the same title by Stefan Zweig, which was also the basis for a 1948 movie with the same title starring Joan Fontaine.

Nana [Hind Rostom], the woman to whom Farid's heart really belongs, accompanies them as a chaperone on their honeymoon to Aswan along with Farid's friend Zaher [Abdel Moneim Ibrahim]. He met a girl named Souraya [Zeinat Sedki] who was about to commit suicide because her father [Hassan Fayek] was forcing her to marry someone she did not love. Monir saved her from doing that, but her fiance immediately disliked him. It later became apparent Monir had no interest in marrying Souraya and he went back to Nadia after his faith in her love was restored. His father financed his production of a big musical, which was an outstanding success.

This poster was designed by an unknown artist to promote the 1945 115-minute Ahmed Badrakhan black-and-white comedy The Honeymoon starring Farid Al Atrache as Farid based on story and dialogue by Badei Khayri, screenplay by Ahmed Badrakhan and cinematography by Ahmed Khorshed. Plot summary: Hanna [Madiha Yousri] was a pretty girl who had to accept a marriage proposal from a man she did love. There was confusion when Farid promised Gamalat [Amina Noureddin] he would give her music lessons at his home. Each of the promised husbands of Hanna and Gamalat thought the other girl was his future wife. When Farid met Hanna he thought she was Gamalat and confirmed the appointment with her at his house. Consequently both girls went for the same meeting. The farce continued until Farid ended up marrying Hanna.

Plot Summary: The musician Farid (Farid Al Atrache) had many friends who spent the night at his home. He lived his life fully. Nadia (Faten Hamama) came to his house one day to tell him she was the daughter of his professor who had just died. Farid asked her to stay at his house. There was no doubt that the presence of the girl in his house would be quite undignified for him and would tarnish his reputation; this caused him to have a heart attack. Nadia began taking care of him and nursing him; feelings of love grew in one of them, and that was the musician. However Nadia loved Mamdouh (Ahmed Ramzy), Farid's little brother who had returned from abroad. Their affairs fell into disarray as the love between the two of them grew, while Farid tried to reveal his feelings to Nadia without knowing about his brother's feelings for Nadia. A friend tried to convince Farid that she loved him and Farid's best friend Sami defended her in that. However Laila (Laila Fawzi) always felt frustrated while Farid was always distracted from Laila and tried to give the reasons why he loved Nadia, who ran away with her love and by chance went to the city of Alexandria for a honeymoon. Farid met them at the train station to bless them and acknowledge their love.

Plot Summary: Almaz was a simple building worker who became one of the brightest singing stars during the time of the Khedive Ismail (1863-1879). She was encouraged by the great singer Abdul Hamuli, who raised her to the top levels. Meanwhile her childhood friend Salem went to Sudan with the Egyptian army. The khedive liked her and wanted her to be his alone, so he ordered that she be maintained in his palace. Almaz agreed to grant him her voice but not her body, despite his promises and threats. Then he accepted the advice of one of the men around him that he should allow her to marry Abdul Hamuli, thinking the great singer would not refuse to allow his master the khedive to try out his young wife when he asked for her. However after the marriage Abdul Hamuli did not allow her to sing anything but verses from the Koran, so the khedive ordered that there be no cooperation with the two singers. Then the revolutionary movement spread among the the young people led by Salem. Abdul Hamuli and Almaz joined them; this ended with the fall of the khedive and his ouster from the country.
