Plot summary: A woman dies leaving her husband [Zaki Rostom (1903-1972)] with three daughters and nobody to help with their upbringing other than a pretty maid; the maid tries to use her charms to make the bereaved husband forget about his sorrow. The maid's husband realizes his wife is interested in her employer and divorces her. The maid then marries the bereaved husband after telling him she iss pregnant with his child. The children resent the marriage and one of the daughters kills the new wife.

Plot summary: The two cousins Yasmina [Shadia] and Farid [Farid Al Atrache] despise each other but decide to marry anyway because that is the only way they can meet the conditions of their grandfather's will, which stipulates they will be disinherited if they are not married. They agree the marriage will be on paper only. Nana [Hind Rostom], the woman to whom Farid's heart really belongs, accompanies them as a chaperone on their honeymoon to Aswan along with Farid's friend Zaher [Abdel Moneim Ibrahim]. Then during the honeymoon Yasmina discovers she really loves Farid and Farid also discovers he loves only Yasmina; the two restart their honeymoon.

Then a young man named Raouf who managed an advertising company [Kamal Al-Shennawi] appeared in her life and tried to tear down the walls Nabila had built around herself. He succeeded and she fell in love with him, but her wicked brother Farid [Farid Shawqi] did not like this because he had been planning for her to marry a wealthy man named Ghandur Bey [Abdel Ghani al-Nagdi]. The two of them fought over this; Nabila finally prevailed and married the one she loved.

This is a first printing of a 45" x 34.5" Egyptian poster designed by Ahmed Fouad and printed by Raghaeb Printers to promote the 1944 110-minute black-and-white Niazi Mostafa film Hababa starring Aziza Amir based on a screenplay by Niazi Mostafa with story and dialogue by Ahmed Fathy and cinematography by Mostafa Hassan. The film was produced and distributed by Studio Masr. Plot summary: Prince Zayed fell in love with his neighbor Hababa who sang like an angel, but there were jealous neighbors who wanted to separate them and they succeeding in banishing Hababa from the palace. Prince Zayed became caliph and increased his power. He discovered he could not live without Hababa and went looking for her. He finally found her and the lovers were reunited, but his love for Hababa created social and political problems for him. Hababa realized this and decided to get out of his life. She committed suicide with poison and the prince lived in sorrow for his lost love for the rest of his life.
