This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster for the 1984 Gillian Armstrong film Mrs. Soffel written by Ron Nyswaner and starring Diane Keaton as Kate Soffel. Plot Summary: In 1901 Kate Soffel is the wife of Warden Peter Soffel [Edward Hermann] of Allegheny County Prison in Pennsylvania. She reads bible scripture to inmates, including Ed Biddle [Mel Gibson] and his brother Jack [Matthew Modine], both convicted murderers sentenced to hang. She falls in love with Ed, helps the two brothers escape and then goes on the run with them.
