This is a 13" x 26" Italian locandina poster for a 1960s rerelease of the 1932 W.S. Van Dyke film Tarzan the Ape Man based on a screenplay by Cyril Hume and starring Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan. Plot summary: Jane Parker [Maureen O'Sullivan] is on an expedition looking for an elephant graveyard when she is abducted by Tarzan and his ape friends. At first she is terrified but she later comes to view Tarzan as a friend.
