This is a 14" x 22" Belgian hand litho poster for the 1966 Ingmar Bergman film Persona written by Ingmar Bergman and starring Bibi Andersson as Alma. Plot summary: Alma is a young nurse who has the job of caring for Elisabet Volger [Liv Ullmann], a prominent stage actress. Elizabet has stopped speaking for unexplained reasons. The hospital administrator [Margaretha Krook] allows Anna to nurse Elisabet at her own seaside cottage. The two become closely involved in an interaction that starts looking like a merging of personalities as the faces of the two women are often shown overlapping.
