This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Abdel Aziz and Wahib Fahmy for the 1975 Hussein Kamal film Love in the Rain based on a story by Naguib Mahfouz, screenplay and dialogue by Mamdouh El Leithy and starring Mervat Amin. Plot summary: Hassan the cinematographer opened his home to many different segments of society. It served both as a nightclub and a place of debauchery; he kept both functions going in earnest. He therefore needed to find a home for this purpose, and this is what Aliat and Senia did for him because they needed money. There was a close relationship between Aliat and Senia. Senia's brother Marzouq courted Aliat and the officer Ibrahim courted Senia. The film director Mohamed Reshwan met Marzouq and offered him work opposite the film star Fetna, who found Marzouq to be the right man for her and began flirting with him. Meanwhile the director Adel thought he deserved the artist Fetna, but she quickly married Marzouq after his courtship of Aliat fell apart, who had gone back to Hassan's house to engage in lewd behavior. Adel decided to take revenge against Marzouq and Fetna and he disfigured Marzouq's face. Life became impossible between Marzouq and Fetna. He divorced her and went back to Aliat, whom he married after forgiving her for her past.

Plot summary: The wealthy widow Hanan [Safia El Emari] lives in Ismailia with her nanny Om Hamdi [Souraya Helmy]. She refuses to remarry because her suitors are all just after her wealth. Lobna [Maali Zayed] is a woman who works for the seamstress who makes Hanan's clothing. Hanan sympathizes with her because she is pregnant and needs to marry her fiance Atef [Farouk Al-Fichawy], who does not have an apartment; she gives Lobna a small building rent-free in the garden at her villa were she and Atef can live, and she also hires Atef as her driver. She does this over the objections of Om Hamdi, who is suspicious of Lobna. Then Atef makes a pass at Hanan and begins showing other signs of affection for her. This upsets Lobna and leads to violent arguments between her and Atef, one of which ends with Lobna's death. Hanan and Atef wrap the body in a shower curtain, put in the trunk of her automobile and take it to a field, where Atef buries it. This collaboration seems to cement their once tentative and forbidden relationship. Hanan receives blackmail letters and telephone calls threatening to report the crime and demanding huge amounts of money; then she learns Lobna's death was a ruse and that she is still alive living in an apartment with Atef. The remainder of the film is about Hanan's revenge.

They became friends and she fell in love with him. She tried to disrupt the relationship between Hamdi and Leila and help him become a famous singer. She asked him to marry her, but he told her he would not be happy with her. He knew Leila loved him and that what Faiza had told him about her was not true. Hamdi remained with Leila and Faiza realized she would have to give up the boy she loved, so she left him to his happiness.

Plot summary: Engineer Shab (Rushdy Abaza) was living happily when his wife died in an automobile accident, leaving him with a small daughter. Because he was a petroleum engineer, he had to be away from home. He fell in love with a maid (Soad Hosny) who was coming to the home. He saw her beauty once when he came upon her washing her clothing in the bathroom. He took her with him to his home in Switzerland where he worked. One night he raped her. Then when she became pregnant he demanded that she get an abortion, but a physician told him this would endanger her life. This was a crisis for the engineer, and the maid would not stop crying. The little girl saw how sad the maid was and realized her father was the cause of the problem. She tried to kill herself; this prompted the father to correct his mistake and marry the maid.

This is a promotional poster designed by Mohammed Abdel Aziz for the 1963 95-minute black-and-white Hassan Reda film Fire in My Heart starring Mariam Fakhr Eddine with story and dialogue by Mahrous Al-Garehi and cinematography by Kamal Korayem. Plot Summary: Dr. Shawqi attended a surgery conference in Alexandria where he gave an important talk. His daughter Nadia was proud of him. Shawqi celebrated the occasion with his colleagues at a nightclub. At the nightclub he saw his former wife Laila, the mother of his daughter. When he approached her she ran away and was hit by an automobile. He then took her to a hospital and they operated on her. He sent her flowers continuously. He had met her 15 years earlier at a train station, when she was running a piano school He lived with her in Aswan where they were blessed with Nadia. He forced his wife to plead with the king and his creditors to postpone their debts, she had to give piano lessons secretly to Aida, the daughter of Alia Hanem and he was able to pay the debts. However Aida had a brother who told his colleagues that Laila was his mistress and began wooing her with words of love. His mother learned about what her son was doing, apologized to Laila and sent her a gift for her wedding anniversary. Dr. Shawqi heard some of the talk about his wife straying, divorced her and told his daughter she had died. Then he asked her to forgive him and return to her former life for the sake of his daughter, but Laila did not agree easily, especially since Youssra was helping her while she was alone. Then Laila finally agreed to go back home and in front of her daughter she became the wife of the father. Nadia objected to this marriage and indeed she ran away from home. She went to her mother's grave which she was accustomed to visiting and started crying. No one but Youssra was able to restore her smile with a magic trick. She promised to draw her a picture of her mother for her birthday, since Nadia did not have any pictures of her mother. Laila had completely forgotten about her daughter Nadia so she decided to leave home forever. Youssra gave Nadia the picture of her mother, which resembled the wife of her father, and she immediately understood the truth.

This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster by an unknown artist for the 1956 Henry Barakat film Appointment with Love based on a story by Youssef Issa, screenplay by Henry Barakat and starring Fatan Hamama as Nawal. Plot summary: Nawal worked as a magazine editor and lived with a friend who ran a flower shop. Returning from Alexandria on a press trip she ran into a young man on the train who had nothing to do but chase girls and follow horse races. Samir [Abdel Halim Hafez] tried to flirt with her but she withdrew from him and kept him in his place. He followed her to the magazine office and everywhere she went but she kept him away and refused to hear his love and confidences. There was another young man who owned a factory and wealth and loved her in noble silence. He tried to win her heart and favor with fashion, flattery and respect. Samir thought she loved this wealthy boy Kamal [Imad Hamdi] and avoided her. Nawal then felt kindness towards him. She even went to Alexandria on holiday to stay at the hotel where he was saying. When she met him she did not drive him away as she had been doing and agreed to go out with him. She urged him to use his beautiful voice to perform songs and become a person of value in life. On the same night Samir confessed his love to her and she was happy about it, Kamal asked her to become his wife and she confessed to him that she loved Samir. Samir returned to Cairo to begin his life as an artist, to try to suceed and become worthy of Nawal. However Nawal was afflicted with paralysis in her thighs and went to the hospital under care of Kamal, who had been assigned to her. She refused to tell Samir what had happened to her because she did not want to impose herself on him in that condition and she did not want his love to become mere sympathy. She persuaded her friend to tell him she had married Kamal. This hurt Samir and he decided to go abroad on an artistic trip. Then he learned the truth and went back to her.
