This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster for the 1986 Mohamed Khan film Omar's Journey based on a story by Mohamed Khan and Raouf Tawfiq and starring Farouk Al-Fichawy. Plot Summary: Omar [Farouk Al-Fichawy] lives dependent on his father the wealthy Al-Gawahargi [Mohamed Reda]. His father wants him to deliver a bag of jewels to a colleague in Tanta. On the way he runs out of gas. A worker also named Omar [Mamdouh Abd El Aleem] at a rural gas station tries to help him refuel but uses the wrong type. While they are trying to solve this problem a driver [Ahmad Abdel Waress] who had agreed to provide the correct type of fuel arrives in a big yellow dump truck and beats up Omar. The two Omars later continue the trip after picking up a local prostitute named Negah [Mediha Kamel] who is on her way to Port Said. With nothing to deliver in Tanta, they change the itinerary to take Negah to Port Said. When they stop at a restaurant for food they see the thieves in the bathroom and get into a brief inconclusive fight. Then they continue, driving at night. That night the first Omar and Negah sleep together when they stop at a hotel; then they continue the trip. On the way they are attacked again by the same thieves with the big yellow truck, who steal the jewelry and the car and abandon the truck. The three of them continue to Suez in the truck. There they find Omar's stolen automobile abandoned and wrecked by the road on a rocky beach. Negah and the second Omar continue in the truck, leaving the first Omar with the wrecked automobile. Negah gets out of the truck and hitches a ride with another truck driver after the two of them argue. She immediately begins coming on to her new driver; the film ends with the first Omar sitting sadly in his useless automobile. A radio is playing.

This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Hassan Mazhar Gasour and Morteda Anise for the 1980 Ali Abdel-Khalek film Torments of Love based on story, screenplay and dialogue by Mostafa Moharram and starring Madiha Kamel as Madiha. Plot summary: Ismail [Salah Nazmi] discovered a relationship between his wife and his friend Salem. He notified the police so they could prove the relationship between them. The police arrived and arrested Salem, but the wife killed herself with an overdose of pills. The years passed and Ismail's son Ahmed [Imad Abdel Halim] met Salem's daughter Madiha [Madiha Kamel] at a university where they were both students. Ahmed told his father about his relationship with Madiha and how he sincerely loved her and wanted his father's approval to marry her. Ahmed's father discovered that Madiha was his friend Salem's daughter so he opposed the marriage. Ahmed had to run away with Madiha to marry her. He was obliged to work in a nightclub, but his father Ismail still tried to end the relationship. He notified Madiha's fiance Rifaat [Ahmad Khamees] (Madiha's father had agreed to their engagement). He gave Rifaat the address of the nightclub where Ahmed was working; Rifaat tried to kill Ahmed just after the wedding, but Madiha stepped into the line of fire and was killed herself.

This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Morteda to promote the 1987 110-minute Nadia Hamza color film Women and the Law starring Sherihan based on story, screenplay and dialogue by Samira Mohsen and with cinematography by Sherif Ehsan. Plot summary: Nadia [Sherihan] was a medical student in love with a young attorney named Ahmed [Farouk al-Fichawy]. Her mother [Magda El-Khatib] worked as a nurse at a hospital and sacrificed her health and her youth so her only daughter could graduate and realize her dream of becoming a physician. Mahmoud [Sami El-Adl] was a businessman who owned the building where the mother and daughter lived and wanted to marry the daughter, but when he tried to court her he was surprised to find she was already engaged to the young attorney. Mahmoud therefore asked the mother to marry him instead, while harboring a desire to get the daughter by any means. The mother agreed to marry Mahmoud and he lived with her and her daughter in the same apartment. Mahmoud was addicted to heroin, had lost control of himself and was totally under the influence of the drug. One night when Mahmoud was in the hospital for treatment he left his room, found Nadia and raped her. Nadia's mother tried to intervene and save her but she did not arrive in time, so she took Mahmoud's pistol and killed him to save her honor and that of her daughter.

Plot summary: The wealthy widow Hanan [Safia El Emari] lives in Ismailia with her nanny Om Hamdi [Souraya Helmy]. She refuses to remarry because her suitors are all just after her wealth. Lobna [Maali Zayed] is a woman who works for the seamstress who makes Hanan's clothing. Hanan sympathizes with her because she is pregnant and needs to marry her fiance Atef [Farouk Al-Fichawy], who does not have an apartment; she gives Lobna a small building rent-free in the garden at her villa were she and Atef can live, and she also hires Atef as her driver. She does this over the objections of Om Hamdi, who is suspicious of Lobna. Then Atef makes a pass at Hanan and begins showing other signs of affection for her. This upsets Lobna and leads to violent arguments between her and Atef, one of which ends with Lobna's death. Hanan and Atef wrap the body in a shower curtain, put in the trunk of her automobile and take it to a field, where Atef buries it. This collaboration seems to cement their once tentative and forbidden relationship. Hanan receives blackmail letters and telephone calls threatening to report the crime and demanding huge amounts of money; then she learns Lobna's death was a ruse and that she is still alive living in an apartment with Atef. The remainder of the film is about Hanan's revenge.

Plot summary: Hosnia and the pimp Saleh [Mahmoud Abdel Aziz] ran a house of prostitution called the Hotel of Princesses in the Darb Tayyab neighborhood. Samiha [Madiha Kamel] ended up there seeking refuge from the bad treatment of her mother's husband, while Elham [Youssra] was driven there by poverty. Men of all social levels frequented the hotel, such as Abdel Aziz [Ahmed Zaki], the university professor of philosophy and his friend Morad, Abdel Hafiz Basha, Abdel Aziz's uncle and a candidate for parliament who attacked prostitution in campaign speeches, even though it made him happy to hear the prostitutes insult him. It also made him happy to be able to drop his guard with them. Saleh tried to dominate Samiha but he was content with Hosnia, who loved him.
