This is a 29" x 43" Argentine one-sheet poster for the 1970 Martin Ritt film The Molly Maguires based on the 1964 Arthur H. Lewis Book Lament for the Molly Maguires with screenplay by Walter Bernstein and starring Sean Connery as Jack Kehoe. Plot summary: In the coal mines of northeastern Pennsylvania in 1876 the Molly Maguires are a secret group of Irish immigrant miners fighting the cruelty of a mining company with sabotage and murder. The mining company hires James McParlan, [Richard Harris] an Irish undercover detective, to infiltrate and expose the group.
