Pictured is a first printing of a 35.5" x 45.5" two-piece Egyptian poster designed by Khatab and printed by Dar al-Mostaqbal to promote the 1949 Ahmed Salem 105-minute black-and-white film Man of the Future [ragal al-mostaqbal] starring Ahmed Salem based on story and screenplay by Ahmed Salem with dialogue by El Sayed Bedeir with cinematography by Ahmed Khorshed. The film was produced and distributed by the Egyptian Film Company. Plot summary: Kamel moved into a life of wealth and opulence after receiving an inheritance from a relative. However he did not do well with it and he also attracted ridicule in the press from a journalist named Soheir, who accused him in a number of articles of being a millionaire moron. However as events developed Soheir developed a liking for Kamel and they eventually married.
