This is a 27.5" x 38.25" Egyptian poster designed to promote the 1954 Gamal Madkoor film Traces in the Sand starring Faten Hamama based on story and dialogue by Youssef El Sebai with screenplay by Gamal Madkoor and cinematography by Abdel Aziz Fahmy. Plot summary: When the composer Ibrahim was being treated for loss of memory he saw his former fiancé Ragia, who was living with her grandfather in Alexandria. She emphasized that she loved him and wanted to help him; she also admitted that her grandfather was opposed to their marriage.
