This is a 27" x 39" Lebanese poster designed by Stamatis Vassiliou for the 1961 Enrico Bomba and Andrew Morton Italian/Egyptian historical epic Love and Faith AKA Sword of Islam AKA Oh Islam written by Ali Ahmad Bakathir and starring Rushdy Abaza as Baybars and Lobna Abdel Aziz as Golnar/Gihad. Plot summary: In 1257 the sultana of Egypt, a woman named Shagarat al-Durr, [Taheya Cariocca] is assassinated along with her suitors, leaving the throne of Egypt open for Mahmoud [Ahmed Mazhar] to step in just as the Mongols are about to invade.
