Plot summary: Nabil Kheir [Ahmad Khamees] was a young engineer living happily in Alexandria with his daughter Mona [Alawiya Mostafa] and his wife Wafa. He was a partner in the same office with his friend Safwat Fahmy [Omar El-Hariri]. One day Nabil saw a young man trying to kill himself by jumping off a bridge and was able to save him, but he drowned in so doing and left a bereaved family. The man Hamdy Hamed Nabil had saved was stricken with remorse and wanted to atone for his guilt at any price. He tried to get close to the widow by renting a room in her house without telling her he had been the cause of her husband's death. She rented him a room because she needed the money. Hamdy began to have deep feelings for Wafa and became close to the daughter. Hamdy acquired some money, paid it to the widow and told her it came from a philanthropist. The widow accused him of stealing the money from her husband. He tried to confess to her the truth but Wafa left the country. When she returned she found Hamdy waiting for her asking her to forgive his mistake. She forgave him and they married.

This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Mohammed Abdel Aziz and Hassan Mazhar Gasour to promote the 1967 Fatin Abdel Wahab film When We Love [endma naheb] starring Nadia Lutfi and Rushdy Abaza based on a story by Mohamed El-Tabei with screenplay and dialogue by Hussein El-Mohandess and cinematography by Wadid Serri. Plot summary: Ahmed [Rushdy Abaza] is a swimming champion who has the attention of most of the beautiful women around him, but his choice among them is Madiha [Nadia Lutfi], whom he plans to marry. Ahmed has a heart attack and his physician advises him marriage will be difficult and that he should avoid swimming. Ahmed tries to keep his love away to avoid marrying her, but he cannot stand to see her in pain, so he hides the truth from her; he pretends to be in a relationship with another woman named Layla [Soheir El-Bably] to discourage Madiha; Layla takes the relationship seriously and Madiha is not deterred. When he goes back to swimming he forgets what the doctor said and prepares for a championship race. At this point he tells Madiha the truth about his illness. This shocks her and she tries to keep him from doing the race. He insists and ends up winning. However his weak heart stops as he is receiving his prize and he dies with his trophy in his arms, leaving Madiha and Layla shocked and brokenhearted.

Plot summary: A happy relationship developed between Hoda [Naglaa Fathy] and Ahmed [Mahmoud Yassine]. Ahmed was planning to meet with her parents to ask for her hand, then suddenly went abroad to get his doctorate. Hoda's father [Ibrahim Saafan] got into a severe financial crisis and died, leaving Hoda in great pain. She felt better when she heard Ahmed was returning, but his plane crashed while Hoda was waiting to meet him at the airport. Her friend Dolat [Soheir El-Bably] tried to get her to accept treatment at a home for women, but she would not stay there; she went on a partying binge in Lebanon instead. Then Hoda heard Ahmed had not died, so she wrote him a letter about her situation. Ahmed came to see her, but she overdosed on sleeping pills and killed herself the following day.

This is a poster designed by Ahmed Ghanem to promote the 1961 155-minute black-and-white Atef Salem film A Day of My Life [yom min omri] with cinematography by Abdelhalim Nasr, printed by Al-Nasr printers of Cairo, starring the late Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez as Salah. It is based on the 1953 William Wyler film Roman Holiday. Plot summary: An editor gave the journalist Salah Shawqi and his colleague the photographer Younes [Abdel Salam Al Nabulsy] the assignment of covering the arrival of from Switzerland of Nadia, [Zubaida Tharwat] the daughter of the millionaire Abu Agila, [Zaki Toleimat] after a long absence. At the airport Nadia learned her father's wife wanted to marry her to her brother and she decided to run away. She got on a bus with the journalists without any of them knowing anything about each other. Salah and Nadia with Younes and his fiance had a wonderful night at a nightclub and then she went with him to spend the night at his home. Younes photographed the two of them together; then the neighbors realized who Nadia was and pursued her. When the editor learned the journalist and his colleague had failed at their assignment he threatened to fire them. Salah discovered the truth about Nadia and went to the editor with the photographer and the story about what had happened. Nadia decided to go back to her father, who had decided not to marry her to a man she did not love. Salah stole the photos and the papers for the story and prevented the publication of anything about his beloved. He sent the pictures to Nadia and her father at the airport. The father understood Salah was a noble man and decided to marry his daughter to the one she loved.

This is a promotional film poster designed by Gasour for an Egyptian version of My Fair Lady, a 1968 Helmy Halim 105-minute black-and-white film called Days of Love [ayam al-hob] based on the 1913 George Bernard Shaw play Pygmalion with screenplay and story by Helmy Halim, dialogue by Mohamed Abou-Seif and cinematography by Wahid Farid. Plot summary: Sherif Lutfi [Ahmed Mazhar] was a film director looking for someone new to play the starring role in a film about a famous actress. Not finding the right actress, he persuaded Eshta, [Nadia Lutfi] an attractive woman he happened to meet during a trip to Alexandria, to take up acting in the cinema. After long hesitation she agreed and with lessons in diction, posture and table manners he made an aristocratic girl of her. After much effort she learned to play the role and their first film was a great success. She then rebelled against him and he tried to break her down with his egoism; he promoted her personality and the fact that he was the one who had made her. He later regretted this and asked her to forgive him. She did so and they were married.

This is an Egyptian film poster designed by Mohammad Abdel Aziz for the 1964 Youssef Chahine 100-minute color film Dawn of a New Day [fagr yom gedid] with story and screenplay by Samir Nasry, dialogue by Abdel Rahman El-Sharqawy, cinematography by Abel Aziz Fahmy and starring the late Sanaa Gamil (1930-2002) as Nayed. Plot summary: A varied group of bourgeois people were living in poverty in Cairo after political conditions turned against them. They included Nayed, a women in her 40s. She met a young man named Tareq (Seif El Dine) and was drawn to him even though he was from a completely different social class; she did not choose a man from her own class, not even Abu Al-Ala who was trying to get close to her. Tareq was still a student at the university living in a humble room on an upper floor and studying engineering. The boy had to go abroad for three years to complete his studies. He discovered that Nayed was treating him as a substitute for a small boy who had died years ago. This is what started her relationship with a poor man, but he was unable to correct the situation. Nayed tried to obtain the money to give to her beloved so he could complete his studies, working as a secretary at the press office her brother managed, but then she suddenly decided to end her association with this boy, who was no more than twenty-two years of age; they said goodbye to each other at the Cairo Station.

This film is based on a novel by Egyptian Nobel laureate Naguib Mahfouz, screenplay Mahmoud El Leithy and Salah Jahine, cinematography by Abelhalim Nasr. Plot Summary: Amira (Soad Hosny) was devoted to a job in a company while supporting her family. She took up social work and organized a company Easter trip. She met the important and influential employee Megdi (Hussein Fahmy). He was also the husband of the daughter of the chairman of the Board of Directors, named Nabila (Karima Mokhtar). Love developed between Megdi and Amira and he married Amira secretly. When he told his wife about the relationship she demanded a divorce. Then Amira was fired and he felt complete remorse. He resigned from the company, announced his marriage to Amira and the two began married life together.
