Setareh went to the home of Nosrat Khanom, who lived with her husband Akbar. Setareh died while giving birth to a girl who was cared for by the old woman and her husband. She named her Parvin. Parvin grew up and developed a liking for Hushang, the son of Masoud Khan. Masoud Khan opposed a marriage between his son and Parvin so he sent Hushang to Hamburg. When Hushang returned from the trip, thinking that Parvin was indifferent to him, he made plans to marry one of his village workers named Nesrin. Nosrat and Akbar, who knew Parvin was pregnant with Hushang's child, complained to him. In court Ahmad Khan hired Hushang's attorney and convicted Parvin. Ahmad Knan, who knew Nosrat and Akbar were not Parvin's real father and mother, realized with further investigation that Parvin was his own daughter and after expressing remorse to Hushang he asked him to marry Parvin.
